“I purchased this vacuum a few months ago and now we've ripped out the carpets. Will this vacuum damage luxury vinyl plank? The floor manufacturer suggests not using a rotating bristle bar. I'm not finding a hard floor attachment for it.”

I can't tell you if it will damage your floors, but the head on this is specifically designed for multi-surface, including hard floors. We've had no issues with it on our Vinyl flooring.

The high torque cleaner head is designed to work across all floor types eliminating the need for two cleaner heads. It features stiff nylon bristles to drive deep into carpet and soft, anti-static carbon fiber filaments to capture dust from bare floors. The high torque cleaner will automatically sense and adapt to changes in the floor type so that the right amount of suction is provided. You will not get the same benefits with the soft roller cleaner head.
