• No, I tried and it will not work with the power cord plugged in.

• No. it is extremely bad for the device to use it while it is in the middle of charging. You will cause the battery to over heart and that damages the longevity of the battery and its ability to hold a charge.

• Hello Gurken, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson V11™ Torque Drive vacuum, along with all of our other cord-free vacuums cannot be used with the charging cord attached. The cord is 6' in length so you would not have enough length to vacuum. These machines are only intended to be used as cordless machines. Best wishes. Kelly Dyson Customer Support

• No. For one thing, the cord is not nearly long enough to be of use. By judicious use, we have not had a problem vacuuming and running out of power.
