Hi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. V11 Torque Drive offers three run modes: boost, auto and eco. The run time of each depends on whether you're vacuuming bare floors or carpeting. You can expect the following from your machine: Boost mode on hard floors: 5 minutes / Boost mode on carpets: 10 minutes Auto mode on hard floors: 40 minutes / Auto mode on carpets: 18/20 minutes Eco mode on hard floors: 60 minutes / Eco mode on carpets: 45 minutes Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support
