Hi there, its Tameka with Dyson. As long as the model, V6 Animal, it is the same the vacuum and its features are exactly the same. The only differences we have found is the extra had one more attachment and the battery lasts longer. It's supposed to have better suction but I didn't see a difference. The extra attachment is a small brush for baseboards. Hope this helps.
