“Is there any suction difference between the V6 mattress and the detached hand held portion of the V6 Animal .If so what difference? Will the extra filter on Mattress reduce suction?”

I'm sure their is, but not enough for you to notice. If your going to pay that you might as well get all the tools with it.

There is no difference in the amount of suction when used as a vacuum for floors vs. a handheld. The V6 Mattress does include a HEPA filter which is a post motor filter and therefore does not filter debris. Best Wishes, Krystal Dyson Customer Service
