Hi Robert, this is Krystal with Dyson. I am sorry to hear of the difficulty with your Dyson V6 Trigger. What you have described is a safety feature built into the machine. The machine pulsates ON/OFF when the trigger is held to alert you of an obstruction. It is just a matter of locating and removing the obstruction. We will be happy to assist with this and want to ensure your vacuum is working as intended. Please contact us at [email protected], include your name and contact information, and we will be glad to assist. We look forward to hearing from you. Best Wishes, Krystal Dyson Customer Service
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Something like that happened to me once, pull trigger and it lights up but kind of pulses and doesn't stay on. It's either the glowing button on the back of the unit...pressing it changes the mode of suction. Or it could be that the dust catching release (where you dump out the dust) is not properly snapped back into place.
