• Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. V7 Advanced Origin will have a floor tool that has a spinning brush bar. If your flooring can accept a brush bar with no issues, you should be fine. You may wish to check with your flooring manufacturer, if there are any concerns over brush bar usage. The brush bar on our cord-free machines cannot be disabled. • I have real cedar flooring and have noticed zero scratches. I do make sure to clean the head of my vacuum monthly
