“Currently have the Dyson V6 Animal we bought it in 2015. Is the trigger to keep the V7 running easier to hold down that the V6? Also from what I can tell it weighs a little more and is longer. Will this model work as well picking up pet hair? Thank you”

• Hi Sharon. This is Amanda with Dyson. The Dyson V7 cordless vacuum offers the same light touch trigger and should not be hard to hold down while using the machine. The V7 has an operational weight of 5.3lbs and is roughly the same length.
