In short, yes. I have the ecobee4 and it works perfect. I needed to make some minor adjustments after I'd installed it the next day. However, I was at work when my wife complained about it. I opened the app and made the requested adjustment and it's worked perfectly since. I liked it so much that when another thermostat went out 10 days later I didn't think for a minute. I jumped out and picked up another one.

You can set vacations to start/stop and set different modes for times of the day when you aren’t home. I can’t tell how effective the sensor is just yet to adjust temp when I’m not in certain areas of the house. Overall very happy with the product. The Alexa feature is also very useful.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes just download the ecobee app on you phone / tablet and you can manage everything. You’ll need to connect it to WiFi and have a good signal to it - it connects to the cloud and then you connect remotely to manage it.
