“I was not around when the sensor was installed. Can you tell me how to get it apart to replace the battery? It has a screw attaching it to the wall but I don't see the screw head.”

Just pull on the front gently. It's just a tension clasp holding it in place. The screw goes into just the back plate.

The back of the sensor has a snap on back. Just pop it off.

You simply remove the back by twisting it. It's possible they used an adhesive to attach it but the piece itself does not require any tools to remove it.

just pull it gently, the back will pop off it. The screw head is on the inside of the pop off back.

The cap on the back just pops off. Use a penny or butter knife to get it off. Good luck you padawan.
