Nop ! So you can let's say, place one in the living room ,depending on the structure, it could see be cos it's angle capable.

Yes, In fact, it is very hard to sneak up on the camera. But, 2 or more could not necessarily be viewed if the timing of the zoom/follow was tracking someone (I am not sure about this - test it). Best to have more than one of these to have a clear view of things from a few spots. Ecobee has a whole package to check out. Surprisingly good.
