• Will this work with the smart life app? No, only with the ecobee app Will it work as a motion detector? Yes there is motion detection hardware on here. You can set routines and stuff through Alexa.

• Hi Ricky. Unfortunately, Switch+ will not work with the smart life app, but it will work with the ecobee app. To answer your second question, yes it will work as a motion detector. You can set routines and use other features. Hope this helps!
