If the mop attachment is on, it will avoid going into carpeted areas, but it can't lift the mop to do vacuuming in those areas while doing a vacuum and mop on other areas. Hope that makes sense!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It cleans the floor with mop, but can’t use the mop if planning to have carpets thru the same areas. Just adjust to your own areas and add or take mop accordingly.

Please try again later.Hi, As for your inquiry, we noticed that the model N10 max+ couldn't go cross the carpet when it was installing the moping plate since it has a carpet detection sensor to protect your carpet from ruin. If we need the machine to vacuum the carpet, it would be recommended to take off the mopping plates from N10 max+.
