“Does it clean in a pattern (from side to side) or is it sporadic?”

So in short, very sporadic. Even though nothing changed in the house it does not run the same pattern.

You can set it up ether way. Go to the manufacture web site and you can download the manual.

It goes where it wants to go. No pattern. No side to side but it has a setting that will start in the center of room then clean in a circle from there.

It does not clean in a specific pattern- it will travel until it senses an object and then turn. It will continue to do so until you return it to home.

It can clean the walls only, in circles to get one spot, or zig zag to get the whole room. You can also control it with the supplied remote or through the app on your phone. It's easy
