for the ecovac to mop you only need to fill the reservoir with water and attach the moping pad. ecovac will tell you its ready to mop. so for vacuuming just remove the mop pad and ecovac will tell you its ready to vacuum. that simple. nothing else to do in the app or elsewhere. the simple attachment of the mop pad will alert ecovac as to what you want it do next mop or vacuum.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We've had the Deebot fo4 4-5 weeks. You can "draw" an area on the map Deebot created to do only a smaller area. It has mapped the entire house, but if I wanted just a small area in the kitchen, it can be "drawn" on the map. As far as apps - I don't know of any other than the Ecovac app.

Please try again later.When you attach mopping pad & pad mount it automatically detects & will not release water & it will avoid carpet and area rugs once you have mapped out the whole house. I'm not sure without the app but I wouldn't see why it wouldn't because the app doesn't have a mop button. In the app you can adjust the amount of water (low, medium, high or max) but there is no mop button. On the top left corner of the floorplan map management there is a little blue water droplet symbol. I reckon to let you know the mopping attachment is on. ECOVACS HOME in all caps is the one I found that worked best for me. I tried another but was i couldn't get it to work.
