This robot has carpet detection- if you have the water tank on, it won't go over carpets specifically so it won't wet them. I own the same robot and I have both hardwood and rugs. I always run it twice, one vacuum only and then again with the water tank
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It knows not to mop the carpet using the mapping system.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The OZMO T5 will NOT vacuum the floor when the mopping attachment is in place. So it mops and vacuums the hardwood, but when it detects carpet it will avoid it and go around or not through it. I think the AI is basically set to not get your carpet wet with the mop sponge, which makes sense, but yeah, kinda annoying. You would need to run it twice and remove the mopping attachment when you don't want to mop and just hit carpet/floor. However once it maps your floor you can set regions in the App and have it choose to hit a certain defined region of the house or draw a box to hit a certain spot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have to T5 and T8. The T8 does what you’d like it to do
