- Answer You must have the ability to connect to 2.4 Ghz. This is the wavelength that this one uses. Many newer modems are at 5Ghz now. But they also recognize the 2.4 as well. Check your modem specs first.

QuestionIs there anything that needs to be done to set the OZMO T5 to mop and vacuum in one run? I.e if the floor plan includes carpet and hardwood areas, does this device support mopping the hardwood and vacuuming the carpet without needing to change anything?

- Answer This robot has carpet detection- if you have the water tank on, it won't go over carpets specifically so it won't wet them. I own the same robot and I have both hardwood and rugs. I always run it twice, one vacuum only and then again with the water tank

- Answer Hi Anne, Thank you for contacting Ecovacs. The Deebot T5 is able to store 2 saved maps and 1 temporary map. - Answer Are we talking teacup chihuahua or great dane? LOL. Seriously, I forgot to pick up my dogs' water bowl and it bumped the bowl, sloshing water out. It was just a small puddle about the size of 1 or 2 melted ice cubes. It didn't mess up the vacuum. HOWEVER, urine is different. There are two brushes that rotate 360 degrees along the floor, sweeping things toward the center where they are sucked up. I would imagine two potential problems. 1. The brushes would be covered in urine and then spreading it over the floor. 2. It may stick to the inside of the collection bin and start to stink. If the dogs are peeing, I'd suggest cleaning the pee up first and then running the vacuum.

- Answer It is made to work with pet hair, the brush is designed to move the hair toward the center, where it actually shreds the hair, so that it doesn’t stay wrapped around the brushes rollers.

QuestionAfter attaching the cleaning cloth plate to the reservoir, how do you separate them again? If I try to pull them apart I am afraid I may break either piece, or are you supposed to leave them attached all the time? Thank you for your help

QuestionWe don't have wifi network at home, can I turn the wifi off on our T5?

- Answer Hi, Please kindly notice that the function to turn off the wifi network of the Deebot is not available currently. But if your machine supports the networking function, but there is no Wi-Fi at home, you could directly press the Auto Mode Button on the machine to start the machine. If you need to use some of the functions after networking, such as setting a scheduled appointment, you could connect to the machine through the mobile hotspot, and you need to modify the appointment time next time, you could connect to the hotspot again. QuestionI have two floors, Can I buy a second charging station for bringing it upstairs so I don't have to also bring the charging station up and down? will it work with two different charging stations?

- Answer The charging station is not big. If you want but what I do is bring the robot vac to the charging station or you can bring the charging station to the vac. The vacuum holds a charge for like 2 hours. You will be able to finish both floors with out recharging. It will look for the charging station after the floor or the room your are cleaning ends. All you have to do is just stop it manually or on the app. Its up to you at the end if you want to spend money on a charging station.

- Answer It will work on any hard floor, to a varying degree of effectiveness. The "mop" action is more akin to those Swiffer mops, but I find it to be effective for day to day cleanliness.
