you will have to change the cartridge every time. and yes you can use it on tile floors.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To clarify!!!!!! This baby mops and vacuums at the same time. You have the use the water tank because you cannot turn off the water when its inserted. If just vacuuming, you use the dry compartment.
