Yes, You can plug a enet switch into anyone of the enet ports to add more wired connections.

The point of the eero 3 Pack is to extend and strengthen the WIFI network signal. In my case, the WIFI that came on the router from my network provider has a very poor signal - only good for about 1000 sq ft. Using one port on one of the "pods" I hard-wired it to the back of the router. This allows me to build a new "MESH" WIFI network. In my case, I have a separate garage and a metal roof on the house. Using a total of 9 (3 - 3packs) of the eero's I am able to wirelessly connect about 12 devices across my house, in the backyard, in the garage and around my property. The only "pod" that is hard wired is connected to the router. The reason for the MESH WIFI is that the :pods" are very flexible - you can place them anywhere. If you get a dead spot, all you have to do is an another one in the dead area. In my case, the only "pod" that is hardwired is the one connected to the router. I suppose that it would be possible to hardwire a pod to a printer or a device that does not offer WIFI - or even a switch - using one of the ports on the back of the pod, but that kind of defeats the purpose of a WIFI. As I mentioned I have about 12 devices connected to my WIFI network. These include TVs, phones, pads, laptop and desktop computers, and printers. They all work flawlessly and setup was unbelievably easy - just follow the instructions on the smart phone. The only trouble I have had is that occasionally, one of the pods drops the signal and must be rebooted (unplugged). Most of the time though, individual pods self-recover when the network is dropped. This really is a "set and forget" system.
