it's not all the router's fault -- the PS4 has a notoriously horrible wifi chip that gets subpar speeds no matter what, unless its right by the router, basically. my laptop and ps4 are in the same room, and my laptop is consistently 3x as fast on the same wifi, and the devices are within 10 ft of each other. i used to get 15mbps on the ps4, and with the eero, I get like 50+ and I actually think it's awesome.
