eero should easily cover a 40 ft dist from home. I have a community pool behind my home and i can easily receive my home wifi network signal on the phone
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Don, An EERO Home system covers approximately 1000Sq Ft while the Pro covers 1500Sq Ft -- give or take. Now, Yes and No. It depends on interference, to include piping in walls, cement / metal / stone etc as well as any electrical or network intereference from devices in that area. Example: The wall that directly faces your pool has either, or / a combination of the following: -Pipes -Electrical / networking cabling -Is made of cement, metal or stone Answer - you will have issues Example 2: It is a stucko / drywall with little to none of the above and your eero is placed along that wall. Answer - I would bet you could get Wifi through the backyard and into your neighbors backyard...as long as you dont have a solid stone wall between the two homes ;-).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I imagine it would. Mine is spread out across 4 floors and about 1250 square feet each floor. The pool issue seems doable as long as there isn't something between the routers and the pool that would alter the signal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If one of the eero's is on the side of the house where the pool is you'll have no problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have coverage from the house clear to the back of my yard which is about 60 feet. I don't know about using a range extender with the eeros but so far I haven't needed to try it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Like apple products, the whole catch is to buy more and more. It's only good as how many you have. 3 pack sounds like a lot, but it's pointless unless u go for 6. 1 = hub connected, then u need 1 near the hub regardless (which is pointless because the strongest signal is already happens when you are near the router/modem regardless of the eero. Then you have 1 final eero really for wherever you want it. So really, now your about 30-70 feet away from your modem. I have (2) 3 packs, 6 total individual eeros, thus maximizing its full potential after sacrificing like 3 eeros in my 3800 sq feet house. But yes, it would work 40 feet from the house if you set it up linear with a 3 pack. But would you waste eeros like that? Actually you can move them anywhere when you aren't at your pool.
