- Answer The beacons plug directly into an outlet and function as a relay. The square Eero has a plug-in that allows it to away from the outlet. It also has two LAN ports, allowing it to work as a wireless and wired system simutaneously.

- Answer I think it would be high priced overkill, not really how I would disperse tethering from your cellphone.

QuestionWhere we live we can only receive the most basic internet. We can only have one iphone hooked to the internet at a time for us to stream a show from YouTube tv, etc. We need to be able to all use internet/stream at the same time. Is this what we need?

- Answer Both are routers so duplicate the routing services of each other. The Time Capsule also includes a hard drive for Apple’s backup service. You could connect both to a modem and have two different networks if you wish, but there is no advantage to connecting the Time Capsule to the eero network nor vice versa.

- Answer You can continue to add as many eero nodes, large or small, as you want. Eero is unlimited and has systems that use over 40 nodes in Washington and Texas.

- Answer The eero is the wireless device as opposed to your internet router from your ISP. The eero will be the device providing the signal, wireless name, etc. It's super simple to set up and they even walk you through it on the app (app available for both iPhone and Android).

- Answer This is just a wifi system, you have the option to choose as to which camera you system you want or need due to the fact that EVERY wifi camera system is compatible, head into your local best buy and ask the connected home expert to see which best fits your needs.

- Answer Correct, you'd plug it into your internet router and then configure it to be your wifi source. They have you download an app on your phone, which guides you through initial setup and what you'll use to manage it moving forward (like change the name, set your security settings if you want, etc).

- Answer It will work with your cable modem. It will be redundant to your router...no need for both unless you want to manage two independent networks.

- Answer No, they do not. In fact the processor is only 700mHz and likely a big factor in weak handling of multiple WiFi devices and resulting slow WiFi speeds.

- Answer I would buy 2 eero pro systems and setup one as a router and the other 5 as access points thru out the home. They can also connect to lan ports to increase the speed.this will cost about 1000 dollars but that is a BIG house!!

- Answer Ping latency is caused by the distance from the ground antenna to the satellite. This would not be improved with an eero or any other system.
