According to the official Electrolux Laundry Tower Single Unit Front Load 4.4 cu ft Washer & 8 cu ft Electric Dryer documentation and installation guidance, the dryer vent connection is at the back of the dryer, not on the side. The exhaust must be routed from the rear of the unit to the outside using approved ducting and an exterior vent hood. Key points based on the manual/installation information - This model is vented (not ventless) and requires an external vent connection. - The dryer exhaust outlet is located at the back of the dryer portion of the tower. - You cannot vent through the floor; it must be ducted out through a wall or ceiling duct opening using the rear vent area. - Maico
