QuestionDoes this simply record console or can this record steam games on the monitor? Because I would like to use it to stream or record regular pc games.

- Answer You can record PC gameplay with this card by connecting the graphics output to your elgato input via HDMI cable and then route the elgato output to one of your monitors. For this setup to make any sense, you'd definitely want two monitors. However, if your PC can handle it, you can record games without a capture card. Google obsproject.

QuestionWill this elgato stop frame drops?

- Answer Frame drops depend on your computer. The more HD you stream, the more frame drops you’ll get and the less HD you stream, the fewer frame drops you’ll get. I stream switch games on my pc and I get 60 FPS most of the time while I have it HD, but there’s frame drops sometimes.

QuestionCan I install more than one of these in a single computer and use it to capture two different sources in OBS? I currently use two HD60s + via USB 3.0. Even with multiple 3.0 hubs there are occasional losses of the signal.

- Answer You can stream directly using this device. It has an input and output so you can go from console/device to computer and then from there to the TV. Honestly, ive not noticed much frame rate drop and play most games straight from the PC connection when I stream so that i have the video feed on a PC monitor.
