A:AnswerYou need one hmdi to go from console to the elgato and one hdmi going from the elgato to the tv/monitor. So you'll need two. One should be provided with the elgato and other you should already have with your console.

A:AnswerYou can stream on your laptop or PC but El Gato actually recommends against this as there often is a slight lag. As for your set up, your laptop's graphics card may be too under-powered to process everything and mirror it on your laptop in real-time. Everything else looks ok but I am not familiar with the graphics card that is listed in your pic. As always, the resolution of the game and what you are trying to stream will play a role into whether or not your setup can handle what you are trying to do. I started capturing on my pretty well built laptop only to change over to a desktop PC within a month.
A:AnswerYou'll need a very strong system in order to access all features. Also make shore you have a 3.0 or 3.1 USB port or it won't even turn on. Make shore you use a Desktop system instead of a laptop even if its a gaming laptop. If you plan to run it in software mode only or CPU processing only you'll need a very strong processor so don't be alarmed when it skips on you with your configuration. Say, can't Xbox stream direct like a PS4?
A:AnswerIt's going to run on it's own monitor refresh rate of 60 hertz. The other monitors won't be affected exempt that you do need an open HDMI port.
