Yes if you want too play in 1440p or 4K while recording in 1080p
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it is better if you have a 4k TV. the old one (el gato hd60) would downgrade your 4k to 1080p. this one (el gato hd60+) lets you play in 4k while it records only in 1080p.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is not only for game capture, but you can use this with DSLRs and camcorders that have an HDMI out port to record video from those devices (just like the Cam Link 4k), but this one has more features like a video pass-through port to hook up to another HD monitor or television. The HDMI out must be clean meaning that you do not see your menu options that appears on your device's screen when using the HDMI out port. Some cameras make it where you can turn it on or off. Mine allows either both I believe.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Works with a Mac without workarounds, unlike the regular one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Better is subjective. It offers up to 2160p60 HDR passthrough. It can capture 2160p30. or 1080p60 HDR. It also runs natively on MacOS with OBS. If those things are important to you, then get the HD60S+. If not, then get the HD60S.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. So much easier to set up. And the internal capture card will not work with all PCs. Will not work with the IBuy pc. But this external will work with any and everything else is exactly the same performance wise.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No it's ultimately not. You're better off saving money and getting the HD60S (not S+). I've been strung along by customer support for about two months at this point to be told that there is no fix for my issue and to just use the HD60S. That's what customer support is going to tell you to do anyway.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When you want to start streaming in 4K with less strain on other things
