• The difference is that model 79602 does not include the right and left ear clipper guards and model 79634 does. In my opinion, you really don’t need the ear clipper guards for producing a good haircut.

• On the box I received, it is indeed written model 79634. But yeah, it looks identical to model 79602 on Wahl USA website. Also Wahl USA website page about model 79602 links to the Best Buy page for this model 79634. And model 79634 does not exit on Wahl USA website. My guess is this is a slightly updated model, but Wahl USA website in not yet up to date. This is my first Wahl product, so I cannot tell if there is any difference.
