“Can you adjust the stopping point of the screen when letting it down with remote? Or is there only one stopping point for the screen (all the way down or all the way up)?”

You can stop it anywhere while its lowering and raising. The only issue I have with this is that the range on the remote is VERY limited. Pretty much straight line out from the IR Sensor so good luck stopping it exactly where you want it. I bought an extension cable for the included controls (not the remote control) and mounted that on the wall next to where I would typically be viewing from.
