I did notice the speaker is on the back of the tablet not sure if that’s the problem you are having.

Try this. It worked on my MacBook Pro. Shut down Mac. Locate these keys: Command, Option and the P and R keys and remember where they are. Turn Mac back on and hold the above keys before the gray screen appears. Hold until Restarts, then release.... Worked on mine. Good luck!
