I don’t recommend removing the rubber feet. I believe they help the frying process by allowing heat and air to also flow from the bottom of the basket. Regarding them burning up-I can’t say yes or no, but I don’t think they would have installed them on the basket if their was any risk. However, my opinion only. Good luck!
