- Answer You can take apart the battery packs and replace the batteries inside. Buy AAA rechargeable batteries. Take out the battery pack, there are two small screws, one maybe covered by the label, open up the battery pack replace the batteries, worked just fine for me. I found a video online.

- Answer Just press the clip piece on the lower rear of the wiimote and it should open. It's near the wrist strap.
