• You can take apart the battery packs and replace the batteries inside. Buy AAA rechargeable batteries. Take out the battery pack, there are two small screws, one maybe covered by the label, open up the battery pack replace the batteries, worked just fine for me. I found a video online.

• they have to be ordered from energizer and its cheaper to buy a new charging kit .
