This charger does not monitor anything. The only safety feature it has is Timer Shutoff at 16 hrs. The summary description is completely FALSE i.e. "..and LED indicators alert you when they finish charging." (NOT !!!) The LED Green Light is always on, and never goes out, or change color, when batteries are Fully Charged.
