The computer usually asks where to install my programs. . I tell it to install it to the 1tb instead of the SSD I hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on the program being installed. Not all programs give you the option to choose an install location but the ones that do you can just go to the directory in the installer and select another hard drive file location to install to. Note: most applications have this option in the advanced install option.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The computer does not ask you. Go to Setting, click on system and click on storage. The page will show you what gets downloaded in SSD (C drive) and what gets downloaded in HDD ( D drive). U have the option to make the change.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All of the software packages I have installed always gave me a chance to select the installation drive/directory. It does default to the SSD drive for all installed applications; but you can change this in the installation. I use the SSD drive for applications only, and the hard drive for all my data.
