A:Answer The screen has a gloss finish. Even pointed away from windows, towards unlit walls, there is a noticeable glare. The engineers must have had a reason to have to do this because otherwise it's a flaw in the machine's design IMHO. I'm going to stick it out because othewise it's a great product. If you're very sensitive to glare, you might want to consider another computer.
