Is this unit fast enough to process video editing? null

I have done video editing on it fine. 12G ram certainly helps. Don't know how large of videos/projects you are doing as that will make a difference as to the strength you need. The Solid state Hard drive does allow for fast reading of the programs which is also an advantage. The Solid State drive on top of the TB drive is a great combo in my use for photo and video editing.
