“I bought this laptop a few weeks ago and for the life of me cannot get the USB type C connection to charge my computer. Do I need to activate this setting somehow?”

• it definitely works, best buy gave me a charger, and my own 65w HP USB C charger is charging it as I type on it. must be 65W or up. possibly 45W at the lowest. but will charge slower.

• I would reach out to the HP support team for assistance. I know a lot of the models prefer the barrel style charger for charging but most still allow the power pass-through on type C.
