“Will this work in my Brother MFC-J835DW printer ? and can one find out without having to ask here....is there a chart or something and if so where is it? Why isn't there a better organized system for all these printers?”

As far as I know, you MUST use the ink cartridges specially made for you brand of printer. ie: Brother printers must use Brother ink cartridges. The Only exception I know for this is - those ink cartridge refill stores where you take in your empty cartridges and buy refilled ones at a discount price.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Some stores have comparison chart books attached to the shelves in their Cartridge section. The books have suggestions for using cartridges from various printers, depending on the model , that are compatible with other brands. Good luck.
