- Answer NO! even though best buy will make it appear to fir when you buy the 4100.....when the initial ink cartridge runs out and you try to install this, it will fit....but the printer won't take it, and you get error messages. Go look up the proper ink cartridge (2120, and buy those - - I have learned to never take best buy's recommendation, since, at \best, they are unconfirmed.

  - Epson - 212 Claria Ink High Capacity Black & Standard Color Cartridge Combo Pack (T212XL-BCS) - Black/Cyan/Magenta/Yellow

- Answer As far as I know, you MUST use the ink cartridges specially made for you brand of printer. ie: Brother printers must use Brother ink cartridges. The Only exception I know for this is - those ink cartridge refill stores where you take in your empty cartridges and buy refilled ones at a discount price.

- Answer The box in which the cartridge is contained usually lists what printers it is compatible with. You might want to check that information first. If there is no information on the packaging itself, I would advise that you contact Epson to ask them directly. I always buy the cartridge that is compatible with my printer to avoid operation problems. I hope my answer is helpful.
