That will depend on what quality you set the print at. If you just want to see something in print, but it does not have to be "Presentation Quality" then you can print a lot more pages using a lesser quality like draft, or normal. If, however, everything you print is "High Quality" and "bold", or you have a lot of graphics or background colors to fill up the page, then you will get a lot less. So make sure that you set the print quality to what you need, to maximize the number of pages that you get from the cartridges. So the correct number of pages is, "It depends."
