It is unlikely but it would be possible. Each one of the refill bottles has a drip free and keyed opening so it will only fit on the proper color tank and will only dispense the ink after it is pushed down on the tank fill. The printer also has a maintenance box. this it were the printer puts unused ink from jobs and cleaning. It has to be replaced on occasion depending on how much you use the printer.
