• NO, using 80lb paper the machine made a horrific sound like it was shredding inside and then jammed! Even Epson wrote back saying the paper was most likely too heavy to handle. If I had known this was the outcome, I never would have bought this model! Settings for paper type in the menu all were for thin paper, nothing above photo paper weight. Extremely disappointing!

• It does indeed sound like it's shredding paper or stripping gears! What worked for me is clicking on Printer Settings, which is is the Copies & Pages drop-down menu. Then I clicked on Premium Presentation Paper Matte, which is under Media Type. It takes longer to print, but it doesn't jam.
