It's very easy to setup. Although I'm cautious about ink stain, but just follow the quick start guide to fill up the inks, then power it up and follow the instructions, which will charge the ink from the reservoir to the print head. You will see some ink level lowered and I guess that's what's lots of people saying they haven't really start print but then the ink already lowered. It's because it use the ink to fill up the tubes and print head and ready for print. Again you can fill up the remaining ink from the bottles from your initial fill up. That will bring the link level back to full again. I was curious as I still see some 'left over' in the bottle after the initial fill ups. Now I know it's because they know you will need it after it charged up. The printer will start print some test pages for alignment verification, which I think it's the hardest part because there are patterns that I feel very alike and hard to make a choice. Anyway I just use default number for those hard to decide pattern. As for the network setup, although I have to tried twice but eventually it did linked to my wifi and pc is easily to recognize it. Scanner is also easy to use and can scan directly saved to specific pc and folders. Just need to spend time to go through the setup in the utility.
