• If you were trying from the printer screen it is kind of painful. The app was much easier for me. Not knowing what you tried, I dont mean to ne too simplistic.

• Hi Dennis, Your EcoTank ET-3850 can connect to Wi-Fi 4 (802.11 b/g/n) on the 2.4 GHz band, using WEP-64 bit (40 bit), WEP-128 bit (104 bit), WPA PSK (TKIP/AES); also known as WPA Personal, WPA2 PSK (TKIP/AES); also known as WPA2 Personal, WPA (TKIP/AES), WPA2 (TKIP/AES), WPA3-SAE (AES) security types. Check your hotspot to see if it supports this. You can visit the Epson support site for the ET-3850 to see FAQs and user's guides that may assist with setting up a wireless connection on the printer, or call Epson support.
