• No, they are all color...you ca print black & white documents...anything with color will be color..

• I'm not sure about the 2850 but I'm assuming that it works the same as the 3850 and with the 3850 when you click on print you can then choose to print the "item" in either color or black and white.

• I actually have both of these printers. My wife uses the 2850 for sublimation ink for crafts and we use the 3850 for regular prints. They both do black and white only.
