Yes, you are correct, if maximum resolution is selected. But, it may not always be noticeably sharper to print in 5760 x 1440 vs 4800 x 1200. This kind of differential tends to be more noticeable with photos and graphics. But, this printer is NOT a photo printer. It's also NOT an enhanced paper-size printer. So, with standard size text, in my opinion, the maximum resolution differences with the two printers, ET-3850 and ET-2850 may not be appreciable to the naked eye.
