“I have Epson ET 3850. I read where I can scan a legal size page (8.5x14) using the automatic feeder… but how do I scan a document such as a magazine or a page in a book which cannot be inserted into the automatic feeder?”

Hello Fred. We generally recommend using a standalone photo scanner with a removable top lid like the V39 to scan a book or magazine page. When using the ET-3850, you can try scanning a non-removable page on the printer's scanner glass. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
