Hi MikeMc, Sorry, no the EcoTank ET-3850 does not include fax. It is a printer/scanner/copier. The ET-4850 is currently available on Bestbuy.com and it does fax. Inventory levels may change. In order to use the fax feature of the ET-4850 it must be connected to a landline phone jack. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.

Please try again later.I DO have a line for a phone jack and it's plugged into the modem, does this model NOT support fax operations and if so, why bother putting a phone line jack in? I had an earlier version of this printer and it DID allow both touch screen and faxing, I thought that's what I was getting with this printer but I come to find that the "upgrade" is $100.00, really?

The Epson ET-4850 is basically the same printer but it also includes a phone line for faxing.
