• No. I have this printer and do not use the fax option. It does a great job on printing and scanning though!

• Hello. You don’t need to set up the fax function to use the printer’s print, copy, or scan features. However, if you ever want to send or receive faxes, the printer will need to be connected to a telephone landline. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
