“I just bought this printer a few weeks ago and just noticed it doesn't take paper any wider then 8.5 inches is there another printer similar to this that hold bigger paper?”

I would imagine that there are larger printers with larger price tags. That would be up to you and your research. I am completely happy with my choice.
